Family-friendly Activities in Los Cabos

Last week, I had the opportunity to help a lifelong friend navigate her new journey into motherhood. It was a unique experience, especially considering that despite being the same age, we became mothers nearly 20 years apart!


Returning to baby-land reminded me what an ideal place Los Cabos is to raise a family (or visit with family). Here is a list of a few family-friendly activities here in Los Cabos:

  1. Horseback and Camel Riding: Experience the natural beauty of Los Cabos from a different perspective by riding horses or camels along the scenic trails. While this is probably a better activity for older kids, it is definitely one that will be remembered for a lifetime.

  2. Pirate Ship Boat Tour: This tour combines adventure and history, making it a hit for kids who enjoy a good tale of pirates and treasure. The acting and games aboard are definitely fun for the whole family.

  3. Motorized Cars at the Mall: Perfect for younger children, these motorized cars offer a fun way to explore Puerto Paraiso and its surroundings.

  4. Kid-friendly Brunch Spots: Places like Flora Farms, El Huerto, and Cabo Grill offer great food in settings that cater to the little ones, featuring play areas or kid-approved menus.

  5. Pool Days: With numerous resorts and community pools available, spending a day by the pool remains a favorite for families looking to relax and cool off.


Additionally, the community here is vibrant and supportive, with social Facebook groups like Cabo Mommies and Cabo Teens providing resources and connections for both newcomers and established residents.


Whether you're a parent of toddlers or teens, Los Cabos offers a diverse range of activities that promise to keep the entire family engaged and entertained.
